Haryana Government's process of decision making, in its Land Acquisition during 2007- 2010, in Pinjore Area , RTI documents have revealed, was marked by misuse of Power and manipulations.
This acquisition has ousted hundreds of poor workers, Soldiers and disabled persons who had registered residential plots on their names
The records of the matter reveal :
The 23.07.2008 Report of the Land Acquisition Collector who had recommended the release of certain pockets of Land was rubbished by JSIC Report dated 19.08.2008, headed by the Officer of the Beneficiary Department viz HUDA.
On 24.09.2008 the Assistant Personal Secretary of the then Chief Minister of Haryana wrote on file that the CM has approved the proposal as put up by the Director Urban Estates Department.
Whereas the Proposal had stated that the recommendations of the Land Acquisition Collector in Report dated 23.07.2008 be approved and the same was approved yet the Declaration under Section 6 made on 25.09.2008 was based on the Report dated 19.08.2008 of the JSIC.
The whole acquisition is fraudulent and to benefit private builders and HUDA.
