This Petition is to support a New Tax on Tobacco companies whereby they should give 90% of their Profits to the Government. The collections would be used to Treat Cancer for Free everywhere in India.
Tobacco companies make enough Money, and it can easily provide for the treatment of diseases linked to Tobacco usage.
The largest company Tobacco company in India sends its Profits abroad to its foreign owner. It will much better for the country to keep this money in India. Then we can use that money to treat people for Free.
Thousands of Crores of Profits are generated by Big Tobacco companies, and this money can help millions of people.
The government should Pass a new Bill in Lok Sabha and all parties should support this bill to Increase income tax to 90% on Tobacco companies like ITC.
