Any and all buildings and shopping complexes are running short of parking spaces these days. About 14 lakh cars are sold per year in India, besides other motor vehicles and two wheelers. And on the other hand encroachments are increasing probably at a faster rate! Municipal corporations have guidelines and protocols on leaving some open area in any building that is sanctioned to be built. Builders over construct and bribe municipal survey engineers to get their constructions approved. In the whole process it is we common men who suffer daily with cars and bikes spilling over the sides of the roads and with long queues at parking lots. I want you to join me in requesting Municipal corporations to enforce its rules more strictly and at the same time to builders to make provisions for proper parking in their designs as well as constructions.
