There are series of benefits if Belgaum-Kttur-Dhrwad (in Karnataka) Direct Railway Line is implememnted. One of the major benefit is : High Reduction in distance & time between Belgaum & dharwad and various other benefits listed in the petition.
Northen part of Karnataka is totally neglected in this year's Railway Budget. Pls announce this new Rail Line & thereby atleast try to provide some consolation.

But do we really need this?
I don’t think Kittur people have any transportation issue. From Dharwad we can reach very easily.
1. Reduction of travel time : If crossings are less then extra 40 Km should not be long distance(By Bus Hubli to Belgaum 100 and by Train 140)
2. What will happen to the Londa, khanapur Alnavar...people. Do they have the transportation like kittur people?
3. Why cant the currently running Intercity train can go up to Belgaum?
Please think on these issues also before supporting this petition
