I support this petition Because:
1. The staff was absolutely clueless in my centre....we were given no demo (for 15 minutes as stated beforehand) .
2. The system had glitches and I lost valuable time due to image invisibility and system instability
3. The questions were repeated....since I took the test on Day-1 , I was at a disadvantage compared to the ones who took it later--- No matter how much they try, the questions do get out into the public, and they did.

i strongly believe that a lot of students got unfair advantage over others..
those appearing in later dats (3 and afterwards)
they clearly knew that questions are being repeated from previous years and previous slots..
there are atleast 10 questions. and this really makes a difference..
and i believe that it was a kinda joke with more that 2.4 lakh students.
IIM should accept that this CBT and that too in 20 slots was a huge failure..and without wasting much time they should cancel this CBT and take a paper pencil test.

For the record, I had no technical glitches, no noisy environment, no undue advantage and no malpractise experience. And I know that a retest would only do harm, if no good, to my result.
But then I do understand that many deserving candidates have been left wanting and many not-so-deserving candidates must be rejoicing due to any of the many reasons.
So, while I recommend that a more fruitful approch like taking a retest and giving equal weightage to both the tests should be thought of, I would still support the retest in the absence of any other solution

I never thought i ll see my 1 yr hard work going waste like this. The day i gave test i am daily hearing people getting extra time due to power cutoffs, people cheating and peeping very easily their neighbor's PC. Yesterday it went above my head when i heard the case of varanasi test centre cheating case. Now i can't take it anymore, why i would suffer when i did nothing wrong. Even a single digit is important for me and here bunch of questions r getting here n there in this process. I strongly want cancellation of this xam.

I dont think this year online CAT will be fair evaluator of the MBA aspirants. If the candidates who appeared in the first few days complained of the technical glitches, students who appeared later had a comparatively difficult question set to answer. How the IIMs are going to evaluate it is something which continues to baffle me. They dont have a common parameter to judge the applicants. And moreover they haven't made it public (and seem in no mood to do so) about the marking and evaluation scheme. I dont understand what is there to hide from the students?? The system should be transparent . We are not giving 1400 rs for all this chaos and unsatisfaction. The reputation of IIMs is at stake and they should take a reconilatory step.
